Bio about me!!

Hey everyone!!! I was challenged to start my own blog and who isn't up for a challenge. I will start my first post by introducing myself for those of you who don't know.

I am a newly married (July 23, 2016) lady to an amazing man who I have known since grade school. We met when I moved to a new school and my mom got remarried. We dated for 8 years and certainly went through our ups and downs and the first part of our relationship we were apart as I was in college (I'll save the rest for a different day). Currently it is just the two of us, no kids....no animals and that is how we prefer it right now. However, I do want some cows in the future to raise as pets, because I grew up on a farm and participated in 4-H for 9 years.

I graduated from Michigan State University (GO GREEN!!) in 2011 with a Bachelors in Family Community Services with a focus in Early Childhood Education. My passion is helping others in any way that I can, but I knew that becoming a pediatrician was out of the picture when my advisors in college told me how long I would be in school and how much debt I would have. So I completely changed my path and went into teaching.

I am starting my SIXTH year teaching!!! I have taught in a couple different toddler classrooms, in a Great Start Readiness Program, and currently teacher in a Head Start classroom with 3-5 year olds. I absolutely love meeting new children each year and watching them grow throughout the year. It is always sad when I have to send them to Kindergarten, but as a teacher I know that I did what I could do to help prepare them for the big world of the public school system.

In January 2015 I started my own home based business (as if being a teacher to 34-40 preschoolers isn't hard enough) with a company called It Works Global, promoting health and wellness products. It has changed my life and gave me a very good view of what I am worth and that anyone can achieve goals and everyone is allowed to dream. And everyone can DREAM BIG!!

I am excited to share my journey and life with you all and wanted to give you a sneak at who I am and what I do.
